Catering for children between the ages of 3 and 6 years, the Kiuini Kindergarten offer a friendly learning environment steered by well qualified teachers to provide a rich blend of academic and extracurricular activities. Our goal is to offer children a sound early childhood education, while teaching them about their rich Kenyan culture through carefully chosen class activities. Play is an integral part of our curriculum, and we ensure well structured indoor, and out-door play.
The outdoor facilities allow for children to swing and slide, and enjoy sand and water play, while the indoor facilities as well as equipment provide for a blend of make believe play opportunities. KIUINI Pre-School is a Montessori /DICECE affiliated section of the school, which is also partially integrated with the Kenya Headmistress Association (KHA) learning system. This offers a friendly environment with well qualified and professional teachers. We offer a unique blend of early childhood programmes which enables every child to achieve his or her full potential.
The Pre-School aims at developing all the aspects of child's growth and development holistically. Play at this stage is very fundamental to our children's holistic development. We ensure well structured indoor and outdoor play. Our outdoor facilities allow children to swing, slide and enjoy the sandpit and water play. Indoor play provides for a blend of cognitive, social, intellectual, creative, aesthetic, physical and emotional development. Spiritual and moral development through pastoral lessons, weekly themes (such as love, thanksgiving, forgiveness) and memory verses are incorporated. The children have a variety of clubs to choose from: scouts, drama, music, journalism, art and craft. The Pre-School is a dynamic environment which prepares them both physically and mentally for the coming stages of their education.
