Coordination & logistics

A parent can opt to use school or private transport. The school has a fleet of six (6) buses and a van, which provide adequate transport coverage. The van is used during emergency cases, such as; when a bus breaks down. There is a comprehensive insurance coverage for the fleet that includes injury / death coverage for passengers as a result of an accident. Charges for transport usage per zonal area are available from the school administration department. There are separate charges for one way or both ways.

Drivers, at end of each year go for medical and physical check up including eye sight test. Only those that pass these check ups and tests are engaged by the school. The school also ensures that the drivers have all the required legal documents and permits that allow them to drive public service vehicles (P.S.V). Being public service vehicles (P.S.V), each of these vehicles has an installed speed governor that allows a maximum speed of 80 Kilometers Per Hour (KPH).The vehicles are mechanically inspected and tested annually by the relevant government authority and provided with a certificate of road worthiness.
